For the GetDailyDeviations’ To Tell a Story Contest. Featuring my most favorite OCs (of mine): Kayla (the damsel), Zai (the rose guy), and Kyle (the tulip guy).

The main focus of this drawing is the flowers, whereas the Red Rose represent Love, while the Yellow Tulip represent Hopeless Love (according to www.languageofflowers.com).

It might look like your classic Triangular Relationship, but (time to drop the bomb here) Kyle is Kayla’s twin brother. While Kyle think that there’s nothing wrong with it, Kayla’s sane enough to know that they can never be together the way Kyle wanted. Even after they got married to their respective partner, Kyle’s feeling towards Kayla remains unchanged (well, despite being a little indecisive in daily basis, his stubbornness in this one is stellar). Sure, Kayla loves Kyle as her brother, but that’s about it.

I think that’s all I could tell… since the story is basically simple, the ‘spices’ are the complicated ones. I’m writing their story in two versions, one set in medieval times, where kingdom and magic involved. The other one set in modern times, where school and science took over. I must say I like the medieval one better, but it’s easier to write the modern one. So, tough call, I’m still trying to finish it as I speak.
